From in-person conversations with our closest customers , we kept hearing the same thing: The tool they purchased for research surveys was hard to use, expensive, and didn't integrate in the LMS. We knew we could do better.
The Poll Everywhere 2.0 framework was already connected to 4 major LMS system, a leader in accessibility, and processing tens of thousands of live responses a day. We just needed to know what features would make the best survey tool for research and evaluations.

Over six months, we worked with administrators, researchers, and IT staff from three R1 universities — 25 people whose jobs depend on survey tools — meeting bi-weekly to validate every feature before it shipped.
Through bi-weekly planning meetings and Slack message boards we ensured that everything we built was vetted by faculty and researchers who built and administered surveys as a core part of their role.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Poll Everywhere, Inc. has been a market-leader in student and audience response software. Some of our Ivy League customers have deployed Poll Everywhere campus-wide for over a decade. We leveraged the underlying technology of our Poll Everywhere 2.0 platform to develop a survey tool that can be deployed independently or bundled with the Poll Everywhere tool. Using this shared base Survey Everywhere is PCI DSS Compliant, SOC2-II Compliant as well as ISO 27001 AND 277001 Certified. We also maintain HCVAT and VPAT Reports.

ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 are information and privacy security standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Poll Everywhere's certifications were issued by A-LIGN, an independent and accredited certification body, on successful completion of a formal audit process. These certifications, based on rigorous international standards, mark our continued commitment to information security at every level and ensure that the security of your data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas of our organization.
SOC 2 Type 2 Compliant
Our SOC 2 Type 2 report attests that Poll Everywhere is designed and optimized to keep customer data secure. The report is issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and assures that our product and services are accurately and completely described to consumers and that our security and controls meet AICPA trust principles.
